The Boarding Hotel Amalienburg is located in Munich Obermenzing, a little west of the center of Munich, but perfectly connected to the city center and all traffic junctions. In the vicinity of commercial areas in the entire west of Munich, you are practically accommodated in our hotel!

By plane
First From the airport take the S1 to Laim, change to the S 2 The next stop “Obermenzing” again and go into town. NOT towards blue house! Alternatively, you can drive from the train station by bus 162 or 143 a stop to “feel like home street.” The Amalienburg is then on the left side of the road. Second From the train station Moosach (S 1), then take a taxi – taxi about 6 minutes.

They leave from the main station take tram 17 towards Amalienburgstraße. Exit (travel time 17 minutes) and continue straight on the Endhaltstelle go out of town, at the organic supermarket left over. Walking time approx 4 minutes. The hotel you see right after the Bavaria petrol filling station on the right side.

From the airport to Amalienburg by car: From Airport Munich on the A92
In the next motorway junction on the trail to stay straight, direction Munich West. Then comes the junction Feldmoching. Stay here again in the left lane, go straight on direction Munich West. Then comes the motorway intersection Munich-Allach to stay here again on the left hand lane, straight ahead direction Munich West. It follows the exit München-Obermenzing, leave here, you are now automatically on the A 8 (Stuttgart-Munich motorway). From here go straight ahead until you reach the end (it is located here a roundabout) and continue following the road. The extension of the motorway Stuttgart is Verdi Street, after the loss of about 1.9 km road is then Amalienburgstraße on the left hand side. From the end of the motorway to the hotel is about 2 km.

A8 (Salzburg) At the intersection Munich-South bear right onto the A995 (direction Lindau motorway) Go straight to the middle ring. Middle ring highway follow direction Lindau You take the motorway Lindau Take the exit München Laim and then turn right onto Fürstenriederstraße – straight ahead, cross the wide street Landsberger and then go through the underpass Disclaimer. You are now in the Wotanstraße, always follow this road and then set up according to the signs Autobhan Stuttgart. You will pass the Roman court, go to the Nymphenburg Palace (on your left) past, from here about 2 km out of town. The Amalienburg you find on the right hand side. The Amalienburgstraße is only a short distance Amalienburgstraße, then Verdi Street.
A 8 (Stuttgart) From the end of the highway (after the roundabout) go straight on, the extension of the Stuttgart motorway is Verdistraße. After 2 km on this road is then Amalienburgstraße. We are located in a left curve on the left side of the road.
A95 (Garmisch) Exit Munich-Kreuzhof, you are then Lindauer on the highway. You leave the highway at exit “Laim”. Take the Fürstenrieder road, about 3 km. Then you come to a very large intersection, the road crosses Landsberger here Fürstenriederstraße. Here the signs for Stuttgart NOT follow to the left but continue straight through the underpass Disclaimer. You are now in the Wotanstraße. After about 1.6 kilometers from the Roman court, where you turn left off motorway Stuttgart. After about 3 km you reach the road Amalienburgstrasse, according to the Bavaria Petrol filling station you will see a slight right turn, the hotel is on the right side.
A9 (Nuremberg) On Neufahrn take the A92 motorway towards Stuttgart. Then comes the junction Feldmoching. Take the A99 motorway towards Stuttgart or Munich-West. Motorway intersection Munich-Allach, stay in the left lane, straight ahead direction Munich West. Exit München-Obermenzing leave, you are now on the A 8 (Stuttgart motorway). From the end of the highway (after the roundabout) go straight on, the extension of the Stuttgart motorway is Verdistraße, after 2 km on this road is then Amalienburgstraße. We are located in a left curve on the left side of the road.
A92 (Passau) At the airport, Richard Strauss over at the next motorway junction (junction Munich-Neufahren) on the trail ahead to stay, Munich-West. You are now on the A99 Junction Feldmoching. Stay here on the left hand lane, straight ahead direction Munich West. Exit München-Obermenzing leave, you are now on the A 8 (Stuttgart motorway). From the end of the highway (after the roundabout) go straight on, the extension of the Stuttgart motorway is Verdistraße, after 2 km on this road is then Amalienburgstraße. We are located in a left curve on the left side of the road.
A 96 (Lindau) Laim exit and turn left, direction Stuttgart. Take the Fürstenrieder road, about 3 km. You then come to a very large intersection, the road crosses Landsberger here Fürstenriederstraße.
